The Key to Transforming Yourself: Tips & Tricks

I recently delved back into "At Your Command" by Neville Goddard and came away with some fresh insights that I would love to share with you in this post. 

Neville's main focus in "At Your Command" is all about reshaping your self-concept, your mindset, how you view yourself. Think about it: Do you see yourself as confident, healthy, happy, or maybe the opposite as a failure, poor etc?

Here's the gist: Neville suggests we sit in meditation, clear our minds, and then intentionally choose to think positive thoughts in the first person, as if they're already true.

Over time, this practice helps us develop new mental habits. But here's the thing: Just repeating affirmations like "I am healthy" won't do it unless you truly feel the essence of what you're saying. That's when the magic happens—you reprogram your self-concept, which changes how you see yourself, and suddenly, you start noticing opportunities and experiences that align with this new self-image.

It's like whatever we focus on, we become more attuned to. If we constantly dwell on negative thoughts, we attract more negativity, and vice versa.

Changing your self-concept isn't a walk in the park, especially if you're used to thinking negatively. 

But just like getting in shape, it's a matter of consistency. Eventually, thinking positively becomes second nature, and anything less feels off.

Think of it this way: If you want to be healthy, start by focusing your thoughts on health. As it becomes ingrained, you'll naturally gravitate towards healthier choices, and anything less will feel out of sync with who you've become.

Your thoughts shape your reality. 

So, if you see yourself as wealthy, you'll attract wealth. But it's not just about saying the words—it's about feeling them deeply and making them a part of who you are.

Remember the color red analogy? If you're fixated on something, you'll start seeing it everywhere.

 Shift your focus away from problems and towards solutions, and watch as your reality begins to reflect your mindset.

When you shift your focus from problems to your desires, the problems will vanish. It's about dwelling on what you seek, not what you fear.

So, change your self-concept to match who you want to be, feel it as if it's already true, and watch as your reality shifts to match your beliefs.
